Bill Maher says last person to read a book in Texas was JFK assasain

George W. Bush hasn’t been in office for several years now, but that hasn’t stopped the liberal mainstream media from knocking his intelligence one bit.

While discussing the dedication ceremony for the Bush Presidential Library – which opened Thursday – HBO talk show host Bill Maher made yet another quip about Bush’s supposed lack of intelligence.

“Congratulations have to go out to someone very special, in my life, anyway,” Maher said on his show “Real Time.” “For 10 years he was. This was a big week for our 43rd president, President Larry the Cable Guy. As you know, Wednesday they had the big opening of the Bush Library down in Texas. All five living presidents were there. It was a once in a lifetime event: a library in Texas. Oh, I kid. I kid Texas, but the last person in that state to get near a schoolbook was Lee Harvey Oswald.”

So it’s not just Bush that’s dumb – it’s also everybody else that lives or grew up in the Lone Star state as well!

Perhaps Maher had listened to MSNBC host Chris Matthews on Thursday when he said the American people “would be better off if [Bush] studied in college, and then came to the presidency educated so he wouldn’t be a hermit crab.” Lest we forget Bush had degrees from both Harvard and Yale before moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Unfortunately that wasn’t Maher’s only stupid comment of the night. He also called the Boston police force “unprofessional” for shooting at alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev while they were attempting to coerce Tsarnev out of a boat in Watertown, Mass. on April 19.

“I agree that we shouldn’t have given the kid his Miranda rights because he probably had information. We wanted to take him alive. We all agree with that.… there could’ve been bombs out there, there could’ve been an accomplice. So we wanted to take him alive. If you agree with that then what the cops did there was unprofessional. That’s called contagious fire,” Maher said.
