FLOTUS insinuates that Chris Christie wouldn’t be obese if ‘Let’s Move’ existed in his youth

First Lady Michelle Obama won’t leave any stone unturned in her quest to make America’s youth healthier – even if that means using the personal weight struggles of one of the nation’s most popular governors to achieve that goal.

Obama essentially implied during an interview with “TODAY” show host Savannah Guthrie Wednesday that if a program like her “Let’s Move” initiative existed when he was younger, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who recently underwent lap-band surgery to control his weight, wouldn’t be obese today.

“The one thing that I will say is that there are millions of people like the governor who struggle with adulthood obesity. And that’s one of the reasons why I think ‘Let’s Move’ is so important, because you know, we want to start working with  kids when they’re young so that they don’t have these challenges when they get older,” the FLOTUS told Guthrie after claiming that she tries “not to comment on people’s personal choices.”

Seems like Obama is forgetting that obesity is partly caused by genetics, and that even the greatest attempt by her initiative to eradicate the condition is bound to fail.
