In need of a card for a special father obsessed withA&E’s “Duck Dynasty”? You’re in luck.
Greeting card company Hallmark has teamed up with the Robertson clan to produce a series of six Father’s Day-themed greeting cards featuring everyone’s favorite long-bearded, duck calling Louisiana family.
Three of the cards have already been released onHallmark’s website. One of the cards features Duck Commander founder Phil, Phil’s sons Willie and Jase, and Phil’s younger brother, Cy, on the front with the message “Have a Happy Father’s Day.” On the inside the card reads “The Beards have spoken.”
Another one only features Phil with the saying “It’s Father’s Day” on the front and “Hope it’s Happy, Happy, Happy!” on the inside, which happens to be the title of Robertson’s new biography.
The cards, which will cost $2.97 each, will be available at select Wal-Mart stores nationwide starting June 3.
“Duck Dynasty” just completed its third season on A&E, and is the network’s most successful show ever. The ratings for the show’s season finale drew a record 9.6 million viewers and was the highest-rated show on both broadcast and cable TV that night, easily beating Fox’s “American Idol.”
The show details the daily lives of the extended Robertson clan, who run the multimillion-dollar family business, from their quirky adventures to the employees’ apparent lack of a work ethic and the family’s weekly dinners.
Earlier this month, Phil made headlines when he told “Good Morning America” host Lara Spencer that he “did build” Duck Commander during an interview about his new book. Willie has taken over from Phil as the company’s CEO. This past weekend, the Robertsons sent out a special prayer to the victims of last week’s tornadoes in Oklahoma.
