So long, Emerson School of Journalism. The Boston-based school has temporarily renamed its signature Journalism school after one of its most famous alumni, “Anchorman” star Ron Burgundy.
“I know that the ‘Ron Burgundy School of Communications’ will stand here for the test of time,” the San Diego-based news anchor proclaimed. “A thousand years from now when the planet is controlled by robots and mutants from the ‘X-Men’ series, one thing will still be standing: ‘The Ron Burgundy School of Communications’.”
Sadly, his dream was crushed when he found out that it was only going to bear his name for one day.
