Looking for ideas on what to get your favorite Republican youngsters? How about a Ted Cruz coloring book, featuring snippets about the Texas Republican’s rise to stardom and “what he believes will help America grow” as a nation.
The book, which is being published by St. Louis-based company Really Big Coloring Books, is being billed as “a non-partisan educational tool for parents wanting to teach their little ones about the junior senator from Texas, and features pages on Cruz’s religious beliefs and commitment to the Second Amendment.”
It will also include a page on Cruz’s 21-hour marathon speech against the Affordable Care Act back in September. “The speech was so important because millions of Americans believe Obamacare is worse than any war. At least American soldiers have weapons with which to defend themselves,” the book reads.
The book also claims that Cruz, who is one of the youngest members of the United States Senate, was able to withstand the faux filibuster because of his youthful vigor. “Truth-be-known, a lot of establishment politicians are far too out of shape, old or overweight to even perform such a magnificent feat, God bless them all,” it says.
The book retails for $4.99 – although there are discounts if you buy in bulk – and can be purchased here.
