[WATCH] Anthony Weiner claims Hillary is the most amazing, qualified candidate in U.S. history to run for President

Trying to revive his 15 minutes of fame, former Congressman – and New York City Mayoral Candidate – Anthony Weiner has made headlines again. This time, he’s trying to get back in the graces of his wife’s longtime boss.

The man also known as Carlos Danger told Larry King’s Ora TV show “Politicking” that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be the most amazing and qualified candidate in American history to run for President should she decided to run again in 2016.

“If Hillary were to run, she’d be an amazing candidate, arguably the most qualified candidate in the history of the United States ever to run for president,” he said. “I think she’s going to make up on her own schedule and if she decides to run I think she’ll win and I think she’ll make an amazing president.”

Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, worked for Clinton for two decades – starting as an intern in the First Lady’s office and eventually becoming her personal advisor and most trusted confidant. Although she kept her job following Weiner’s 2011 revelation that he had been ‘sexting’ women via Twitter, she took a less high-profile role last summer after it came out that Weiner’s nasty behaviors hadn’t stopped.

It was even reported at one point that Clinton even gave Abedin an ultimatum – forcing her to choose between her husband (and the father of her two-year old son Jordan) and her job.

Although she has long been the front-runner for the nomination should she decided to run, Clinton carries with her a lot of baggage – namely, the State Department’s response to the terrorist attack on the American embassy in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, also has a sordid history that could impact her bid should she decide to try again.
